I'm having  challenging time lately finding the best composition for my landscape artwork.  Perhaps I've been spoiled or tainted by my arch/viz career, where an image always has a center of interest (such as a bathroom vanity or kitchen sink area), and is always rendered for print at 11x8.5 ratios...

But I feel the need to delve into more panoramic renders for my personal artwork, and find it a bit frustrating to decide on and implement focal points.  I've read up on tradition landscape composition techniques; maybe I'm just trying to cram too much into my scenes?

Anyway, I'll be posting up some recent works-in-progress for you all to critique, so stay tuned and don't be nice about the scenes, please!  Let me have it.  I could use some new ideas!

Hi, lovely Idea. I think you're right. If you are interested in landscape I think using a wider aspect is good too. I find the super wide 2.39:1 ratio quite interesting. I'm going to keep a look out for your work!
